Petrichor | India Pale Ale
Bold and balanced IPA perfect for hop lovers. The hefty malty backbone counteracts those bitter notes from the hops, and compliments the ripe grapefruit and orange notes that come from massive dry hopping of Amarillo and Simcoe hops. Drinkable and not too bitter, as far as IPAs go.
ABV: 7.7% | IBU: 47
Malts: Golden Promise, Munich, Pale, Crystal-60
Hops: Amarillo, Warrior, Simcoe

"Charlie and I talked about how there a lot of IPAs out there that are super sticky and piney and resinous, and with too much hop and bitterness to them. So with this beer we really tried to have a hefty malt backbone to counteract those bitter notes you get from the hops. That, coupled with a lot of dry hopping and late hop additions in the boil, and this beer came together to be somewhat malt-forward as far as IPAs go. But it also has really nice aromas and flavors that come out of the hops. You have some ripe orange, some grapefruit, and those work together with the malty backbone to create a beer that’s drinkable and not too bitter as far as IPAs go.
