Brewer @bepeterse adding our mixed sour blends into the Flanders Red. Brewed yesterday with a line coming up from Tank 1 - the first major addition to our barrel aging program. This won't be out for a while but you can look forward to tasting for our 1-year anniversary. Coloradoan's Brews & News
Thanks to Coloradoan editor Lauren Gustus for hosting Brews & News at our space. "Good beer is part of the culture in Fort Collins, and it is meaningful," Lauren told me after leading a discussion on the issues surrounding retirement in the city. "If you look at any number of the breweries in town, they offer opportunities for people to connect, and to come together, and to have meaningful conversation. And a lot of them, so many of them, contribute to the community in meaningful ways ... This is a great place."

Our Taproom Manager Kyle Ocean on this week's firkin: "They both have lots of citrus flavors, both are kind of tart, so I think they have complimentary flavors that go well together. Everybody loves a nice fruity, refreshing beer in the summer."

Firkin Friday | Mangorado
Join us this Friday for the Mangorado, a mango puree infused with our single-hopped Eldora pale ale. Large amounts of the El Dorado hops gives this pale ale a bold and fruity aroma, and the mangos come in for a juicy, summer kick. Grapefruit and citrus at the beginning evolve into a mildly sweet malty flavor. Finishes with a light bitterness and dryness, typical of an American pale ale.
